Cody Deupree enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1998 as a Private First Class in the infantry and retired in 2018 as a Master Sergeant, serving his last 12 years as a Critical Skills Operator in Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC). Cody deployed multiple times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Other operations and deployments include Okinawa, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Jordan, Pakistan, Djibouti, Syria, and Lebanon. Cody ended his Marine Corps career as the Training and Education Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA) at the Marine Raider Training Center, MARSOC. After retiring, Cody continued his service to our country as an embedded, Operational Advisor for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, where he advised, accompanied, and assisted U.S. and coalition partnered forces and agencies, during CONUS/OCONUS deployments, as a subject matter expert on improvised and emerging threats around the globe. He has a BS in Liberal Arts and an Executive Certificate in Business from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Cody is married, has two children, and lives in Richlands, NC.
