Averi Holmes began her journey with North Carolina for Military Employment (NC4ME) through the Career Connection 365 tool as a Candidate, looking for meaningful employment after becoming an Army spouse. After connecting with the team, she found her place as NC4ME’s Career Connection Coordinator, supporting candidates as they begin their search, just as she did.
Since graduating from Miami University in 2020 with Bachelor’s degrees in Public Administration and Urban & Regional Planning, Averi has found opportunities to explore her love for service in both the public and non-profit sector. Her diverse work experiences have centered around supporting community and economic development initiatives at the state, regional, and local levels, respectively.
Averi is midwestern by birth and by heart, but currently lives in Fayetteville, NC with her husband, Grant, and their dog, Boss.
